Enjoy Englewood Florida

Blind Pass Beach

Blind Pass Beach is another of the beautiful and wonderful beaches located on Manasota Key approximately a mile and a half south of Manasota Key.

After crossing the bridge on Beach Road, turn right at the main intersection. In a few moments you will arrive at my wife’s favorite beach on Manasota Key.

Blind Pass Beach

This location is more than just a beach for sunbathing and swimming, it is a great place to walk about and explore. It stretches almost half a mile along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

Gulf Coast Sunset

Along with wildflowers, mangroves and sand dunes there are nature trails for you to explore. These wonderful nature trails cover 60 acres.

Prehistoric sharks teeth, some said to be over a million years old, can be found on the beach which are washed up after the Gulf storms.

There are picnic tables, showers, restrooms and a parking lot for your convenience.

This beach is often referred to as "middle beach". We often go there and spend a day.

We arrive early in the morning and enjoy a swim. Then we take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. After our walk, we swim and then enjoy a picnic lunch.

The afternoon is spent with a good book and few dips in the water. Oooh!! What a way to while away a day enjoying Englewood Florida!
