Gulf View Restaurant (seafood,steak)

Gulf View is located right on Englewood Beach on Manasota Key. It has the best sunsets in Englewood and the longest happy hour. The food is out of this world. On any trip to Englewood, take time to go to Gulf View. You will enjoy dinner, lunch or the happy hour. It will be a time you will always remember.

Thank you for sharing your complimentary opinion of one of Englewood's many great restaurants. I did make some changes to your contribution as the Gulf View Grill is actually located across from Englewood beach, not Manasota beach. Manasota beach is the most northerly beach of Englewood's four great beaches on Manasota Key. Blind pass beach is between Manasota beach and Englewood beach and Stump Pass beach is the most southerly beach on the tip of the Key.

What can beat enjoying the ambiance, eating delicious food, sipping your favorite beverage, while watching the beautiful waters and skies of the Gulf Coast with friends or family.

This great eating venue is just another reason why Judy and I Enjoy Englewood Florida.

Another unhappy visit to Gulf View 2/16/11

In spite of the service and attitudes of the manager and our waiter this restaurant has the best food in Florida. We made an advance reservation and asked specifically for a view of the sunset. Our party of 7 arrived early and we were told we had to accept a table in the way back with a peek at the ocean. Betsy was quite argumentative and did not apologize until we had been their 1hr 20 min. and had not even received our hors d'ouvres. This has happened several times before, but, we have taken so many of our guests there that they always want to go back and we always think it will be better this time. The waiter was not good - Chris. He made a nasty comment behind my back which others in the party saw and heard. When we got the bill we asked to split it down the middle which he did. Then each half was put thru on only one of the 2 credit cards he was given. Fortunately, one of the gals noticed the mistake and the guys waited to get it corrected. We were given free desserts as a compensation for all the hassles. Perhaps it would be wise to have changes in the way you handle your reservations and train your waiters more completely.
