Angelo’s Pizza

Italian food at its finest awaits at Angelo’s Pizza. We first discovered this little Italian restaurant when we visited my in-laws.

Every Tuesday night my father-in-law and mother-in-law enjoyed an evening out with several of their friends. Each week they picked a restaurant and after eating they returned to someone’s house for a game of golf (the card game that everyone seems to play in Englewood!).

On one of these Tuesday night events, Judy and I joined the party. The restaurant on that occasion was Angelo’s Pizza.

Angelo’s is definitely a family restaurant with great selections for young and old. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have returned again and again. It seems that we are not alone in our frequent visits to this great little pizza place. We have heard many people say that they have been loyal patrons of Angelo’s for many years. That is a great testimony for any Italian restaurant review!

Although I usually stick with the same dish, pizza with green olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni, (my wife says that I have boring taste buds!), Judy has tried numerous items on the menu and has never been disappointed. This is especially true for the great salads and dressings that always are very fresh.

Although there can be a wait before you are seated, it is often not a long time before you are digging in to some great pizza or some other delicious Italian cuisine. But, if you want to inquire about reservations give them a call at: 474-2477 or 474-6611, located at 2611 Placida Road.
